This is a short safari that intends to show travelers the best of Uganda through gorilla trekking in Bwindi and exploring one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa- Lake Bunyonyi. It starts and ends in Entebbe or Kampala.

Detailed tour 
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi 
The day will start with a pick-up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and drive westwards. You will stop over at Kayabwe for the equator experience, pose for photos and continue with the journey. You will have an en-route lunch and arrive in Bwindi in the evening. Check-in, have dinner and rest. 

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi 

Start your day early enough; rise, have breakfast at the lodge, pack your lunch, and transfer to the park offices by 7:30 am EAT. You will be briefed about gorilla trekking and thereafter make groups of a maximum of 8 trekkers. A gorilla family will be allocated to each group, which you will enter the forest to look out for. The trek can last for 2 hours, 3 hours, or go for more than 6 hours if the gorillas have moved far. When you spot them, you will stay with them for a maximum of one hour, take photos, observe and learn about their behaviors. 
After the allocated time with the gorillas, you will walk back to the park offices and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. Check in to your lodge, freshen up and rest. 

Day 3: Canoe ride and return to Entebbe 
At Lake Bunyonyi, you will wake up to a cup of coffee as it is always chilly in the morning. You will also love every view at each turning point; views of the dotted lake, terraced hills and volcanoes at a distance. Head out for the canoe ride to explore Lake Bunyonyi; you will ride via islands and learn about their history, watch birds and enjoy the beautiful scenery. After the ride, you will set off to Entebbe or Kampala.
